Something to keep you going

It’s very easy to want to spend every free moment you get, lounging around and getting nothing done ( some thing my cats seem to have mastered), but justifying it by saying you ‘have been very busy’ or ‘you deserve a break’ (which is all very well and definitely rings true at times) has a limit.

I have had a strenuous week of writing 1 and sometimes 2, 3 hour exams everyday which tends to take its toll and I still have another 3 weeks, which thankfully are a lot calmer. This weekend is one I have been looking forward to and told myself that when it came I could just relax. But that’s a lie, there is still some much to be done. In my case it’s preparing for more exams for you it may be different. Every time the weekend rolls around I want to use it to recuperate, but it’s the perfect opportunity to get stuck into work without any interruptions.

I decided to find  little motivation and God know Pinterest is always there to assist. So here are a few quotes that I found helpful and motivating. They keep me on track of work and striving to reach my goals, hopefully one of them can do the same for you. If not go here.

“if you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or an object”  – Albert Einstein

“For what it’s worth, it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you find the strength to start over.” – F.Scott Fitzgerald

there is only one way to avoid critiscim: do nothing, say noting and be nothing. – Aristotle

” I can’t go back to yesterday because I was a different person then ” – Alice, Alice in Wonderland
